Monday's are often dull, manic and moody as the first day of the working week. This especially true on a grey and drizzly November 1st, when the clocks have gone back and the reality hits us that winter is setting in.
EPS decided to brighten Monday up to welcome the darker nights, so we took our new wireless Point30 LED Wi-Fi/DMX controlled up-lighters over to the Cheltenham Town Hall for some early winter festivity.
Setting up just before sunset, the EPS team braved the breezy-bitter weather to view our new lights in all their glory against the backdrop of the Edwardian splendour of the old Assembly Rooms. With the kind permission of the Town Hall manager, we assembled the lights at key points against the facade of the building and within 10 minutes passers by and commuters were treated to a colourful illuminated display.
For one evening only, Cheltenham residents got to see the Town Hall in a whole new light, literally.
Panning from cool arctic white, to a smooth warming glow, the lights gradually gave way to interesting Town Hall personalities, a spooky green horror befitting Hallow's Eve of the night before, on to fresh sky blue to a regal purple then a vibrant camine pink, including every colour in between.
Our video showing the frequency and drama of the Point30 colour changing up lights is now available online, please click here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcmelIl8K3c
